Secure Identity Maestro Websites with SSL Certificates

There are multiple websites hosted on IIS for Identity Maestro, and each website should be secured using the latest SSL certificates methods:

  • Default website.  Hosts the Identity Maestro website including the Administration panel.  SSL Options include:
    • Use a public SSL certificate if the website will be accessed by users who are accessing the website from the public internet.
    • Use an SSL certificate from an Enterprise CA if all of the users accessing the website are joined to the AD domain.
  • Omni Workflow Engine.  This website hosts the Omni Workflow Center and can be secured using an SSL certificate from an Enterprise CA.
  • Remote Agent Service.  This website provides tools to configure and troubleshoot the Remote Agent to a specific target or set of target systems.  This site can be secured using an SSL certificate from an Enterprise CA or a self-signed certificate depending on how the website will be accessed.
