  3. The log viewer provides a formatted view the logs files that are created by Identity Maestro.

  4. Select logs from the log file drop-down menu.
  5. Click Open.
  6. When you have found the log you are looking for click export to download a copy of the log file to the downloads folder.

Accessing Identity Maestro Log Files Manually

While it is possible to manually access the log files that are produced by Identity Maestro it is not recommended as there are several different log files that can contain a variety of different information. If you do need to access the log files manually they can be located in the following areas of the installation:

  1. <Installation Path>\Omni\Identity Maestro. These files are all installation logs that report when a change was made to the Identity Maestro installation including when it was installed, changed, or removed.
  2. <Installation Path>Omni\Identity Maestro\Logs. These files contain all of the data that is produced through day to day interaction with Identity Maestro. These logs contain events and errors that are captured by Identity Maestro. When Trace logging is enabled these can provide an excellent source of information for troubleshooting any problems.
