Confirm the Workflow Engine Configuration in Workflow Center

Thi sprcedure will confirm that the Workflow Engine and Workflow Center web portal are configured correctly.

Applies to

  • Identtiy Maestro 4.0.4+
  • ServiceControl 4.0.3

Check the Workflow Center

  1. Open a web browser on the Identity Maestro host server and go to http://127.0.0.1:40000.

  2. In the Navigation Panel, under Diagnostics select .NET version and CLR type.  This should display the latest versin of .NET installed on the Windows server hosting Identity Maestro.

  3. Select Workflow File Storage and confirm that the path to workflow storage is:

    • for Identity Maestro - [install path]\IdentityMaestro\WorkflowEngine\v1.0\Server\App_Data
    • for ServiceControl - [install path]\ServiceControl\WorkflowEngine\v1.0\Server\App_Data

  4. Under Workflows, select Workflow Definitions and ensure that you can see workflows that apply to your installation options, especially the Create.Entity.ActiveDirectory, Create.Entity.eDirectory, and Office365 workflows.

  5. Under Configuration, select Adaptor Endpoints



    If Identity Meastro will be used to create and manage Office 365 users, ensure that the Omni.R.A.Microsoft.AzureAD.IAzureAD address displays the correct URL.  For Identity Maestro that is running the Remote Agent for Azure AD web application locally, that should show as http://localhost:40002/Services/AzureAD.svc.  If the Remote Agent web application is running on a different Windows host server, the URL should reflect that, e.g. http://123.4.5.6:40002/Services/AzureAD.svc.  If the web application has been secured with an SSL certificate using host headers and port 443, then the URL should show something like https://azuread-ra.mycompany.com/Services/AzureAD.svc.

  6. If SMTP service for the Workflow Engine has been configured, under connections, select Test Email Service.  In the Email Message box, change the To: field to display as a valid Domain email Address.

  7. Click Send Test Email and confirm that the message was sent and there are no errors.

  8. The configuration ceck is complete. Close your web browser.
