How does Identity Maestro protect credentials of connection service accounts?

Identity Maestro leverages administration privileges of the service user account for the target system supplied by the customer administrators to provide a secure channel with which the server can connect to those target systems. Those credentials (passwords) are protected from access by compiling them into connection files that require development tools plus a secured hash to open.

This layered security approach means that it is very hard to access the credential passwords stored within Identity Maestro connections even if you have access to the files. Those files are encrypted so that even Identity Maestro Administrators cannot access the information stored within those connection files.
